Lat14 Asian Eatery: An Exquisite Asian Fusion Experience in Golden Valley

We had a nice dinner at Lat14 with friends, but no part of the experience blew us away. Our waitress was kind but not very attentive, our food was good but nothong we'll dream about, and the drinks were the same. I doubt we'll be back, with so many other great options 5-10 minutes away, but I am glad we finally gave it a try.

Had an absolutely amazing dining experience. Friendly staff but not overbearing, the cocktails were excellent, the food was amazing (pad Thai, lumpia, red curry). Can’t wait to go back

We recently tried out Lat 14 in Golden Valley and had a wonderful time! Upon entrance the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant with attentive service and staff. We started with the Basil Wings, they had a delicious crispy exterior and were soft and tender inside paired with fried jalapenos and a hint of lime, definitely a highlight of the night! We also tried the Snow Crab Wontons, which did not disappoint, they were tasty and served with the Apricot Sweet Chili sauce that added a fruity sweetness that tied it all together. To follow, we went with the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, served in a generous bowl, it was a dish that was enjoyable and had a little kick to it! The Chicken Adobo Fried rice was flavorful, served with a sunny side up egg and soy vinegar braised bone-in chicken, all very tender. Throughout our stay we tried a few different cocktails, the Jasmine 45, by simply looking around we noticed how popular it was and I would totally recommend it, it was bubbly, sweet, and refreshing! The Mango Mojito was very good, it reminded us of a mango soda rather than a mojito. The Lat 14 Old Fashioned was perfect for slowly sipping throughout the night. Lastly, the Espresso Martini, made with a mix, we usually prefer them on the stronger side, this one was very light and smooth. To end the night off we tried the Luq’s Scoop for dessert, it was a delicious toasted coconut ice cream served with caramelized pineapple, toasted coconut flakes, and toasted almonds. It was creamy and sweet, the perfect way to wrap up our stay! Overall, we had a great time trying out Lat 14, we enjoyed their take on classic dishes and drinks and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to branch out and try some diverse Asian cuisine.
